Megan is a licensed real estate agent with Coastal Properties Group. After receiving her Bachelors degree in Marketing from the University of Florida, she went on to gain an array of experience working as a marketing and sales professional for a number of high profile companies, including: Apple, Home Shopping Network, Sensodyne, and Eastern Airlines. Some of her job responsibilities during this time included product marketing, marketing communications, brand management, market development, channel marketing, sales development and field marketing. Megan was born and raised right here in St. Petersburg, FL, but she has had the pleasure of experiencing many cities and real estate markets across the country. While with Eastern Airlines, she lived in San Francisco, and her seven years with Apple saw her move to Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, and finally back to Apple’s home base in Cupertino, CA! After several years in California, Megan moved back to Pinellas County, and it didn’t take long for her to realize that her unique work experience, passion for helping people, and intimate knowledge of the Bay Area all pointed to one career path: Real Estate. So she jumped right in and now, after ten years of success even in a tumultuous market! In her real estate career, as in her business career, Megan is highly decorated. In 2012, she was ranked in the top ten for Realtors in the Belleair office and also again achieved enough sales volume to merit induction to the Sterling Society, which is only available to the top 10% of Coldwell Realtors across the nation. Never one to be satisfied with prior success, Megan still continues to rack up certifications and challenge herself to continually expand her knowledge and abilities. Her current certifications include: Certified Home Marketing Specialist, Certified Short Sale Specialist, Certified Negotiator, Cendant Relocation Representative, and finally ePro Certification, which is a rigorous new technology certification achieved by only 3% of Realtors in the country. Megan has lived in Harbor Bluffs with her husband, Jerry, since 1997. They have been actively involved in community activities, including: Relay for Life, American Heart Association, Marty Lyons Foundation (organizing wishes for terminally ill children), and the Harbor Bluffs Neighborhood HOA.
