Rachel SanderfordReal Estate Advisor

Rachel Sanderford has been a St. Petersburg local since 2001. She has been able to see firsthand how real estate has changed and adapted. In a sense, she has been a realtor in training all her life…her mother, Rhonda Sanderford has been a full time realtor since 1985 and heads the Yes-Homes team with Marian Maguire. Rachel contributed to the Yes-Homes blog in 2014 through 2018 before going to graduate school in Boston and getting her masters in Creative Writing.

Rachel is no stranger to moving, having moved 9 times before her family settled in St. Pete. In her adult life she has lived in New Orleans, Boston, NYC, and Asheville. She understands the processes involved in moving and how it can feel. She knows that to be a successful realtor, empathy is her strongest asset. Moving is more than buying a house. It is your new home. A homebase to recharge. Whether you are single or a family with children, many decisions play into choosing the perfect home. Those decisions require thoughtful questions and consideration. Rachel has been where you are and knows so much has to be weighed to make a decision. She prides herself in asking the right questions and listening to what you truly want in your search for your dream home. This process can feel overwhelming but Rachel has experience in keeping everything organized and running smoothly. Her friends and family have called on her to organize their moves, their new homes, their closets… she even worked for a professional organizing company at one point! She has a knack for putting things in order and staying calm under pressure. With her, your real estate transaction will be fluid and transparent.
