Belleair

The Town of Belleair can trace its origins to 1896 when railroad magnate Henry B. Plant constructed the Belleview Hotel (later the Belleview Biltmore) on a high bluff just south of Clearwater. As tourism boomed and golfers and businessmen flooded the area, homes were developed around the hotel and Belleair was incorporated in 1925.

Belleair has a small suburbia feel and its own little escape to Belleair Beach. It has a multitude of special events for locals and visitors alike. Belleair is also known for its dedication to preserving both its many man-made and natural parks such as Eagle Lake Park, Glen Oaks Park, Bayfront Park, etc.

Belleair has grown into a peaceful little community with plenty of activities, restaurants, shopping, and relaxing!
