Coastal Properties Group International celebrates first year in business with $102 million in sales

Coastal Properties Group International is celebrating its success! After opening its doors just one year ago in July 2012, Coastal Properties Group International is proud to announce it had a record-breaking first year in business with 282 real estate transactions and annual sales over $102 million, exceeding any anticipated goals. The company, the exclusive affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate in the Tampa Bay area, is an ‘invitation only’ boutique real estate brokerage firm comprised of multi-million dollar producing agents.

The Luxury Leader
“This has been a tremendous year of growth for Coastal Properties Group International,” explained Alex Jansen, manager and broker of Coastal. “We’ve exceeded our goals on all fronts and look forward to what the next year will bring. We are proud to have earned the reputation as being the leader in the luxury and waterfront market with an average listing price of $737,250 and over 48% of our sales being waterfront homes and condominiums in Pinellas County.” The Pinellas-based real estate brokerage’s sales have steadily increased month after month since opening its doors, according to Jansen. The firm has been consistently ranked by the Pinellas Realtor Association in the top five of all Pinellas brokerages in number of active listings and closed sales.

Exceptional Agents
“Our exceptional agents are the key to our growth and success,” continued Jansen. “Based on the number of transactions we completed this year, we averaged about $4 million in sales per agent. In addition, our experienced sales agents have the highest average sales volume per agent in the county.”

Expansion & Growth Plans
When Coastal first opened for business, the company operated from one branch office in Clearwater Beach with 12 sales agents. Today the company has five branch offices throughout Pinellas County and 60 sales agents; with a goal of adding 40 more experienced sales agents by the end of 2013.  There are also expansion plans which include St. Petersburg, St. Pete Beach and other areas of Tampa Bay. “As we continue to grow, we want to be certain that we have adequate exposure and office space in all of our primary markets.
